There are many valuable memories in this winter vacation, but I think the most unforgettable one is to travel to Thailand with my family. Until now, I still can remember all the details of that journey……
On the first day, I boarded on airplane with a excited heart because it is the second time I go abroad and I always want to travel to Thailand for years. After three hours of flight, we finally arrived in the capital of Thailand—Bangkok. When we got off plane, I feel like I am in a big stove, the temperature in Thailand is very high but when I hear our tour guide says that today’s temperature is very cool in Thailand, I nearly got crazy, I don’t want become a charcoal when go back to Taiwan﹗ Well, in this 6 day and 5 nights journey of Thailand, we visited many places like Thailand’s palace, a place used to receive other country’s envoys. It is the most sumptuous place that I have ever seen, they use a lot of gold, ivory and gems to decorate this palace. We also watched the most famous feature in Thailand—the shemale show. Before watch shemale show, I don’t believe a man can become a beautiful woman but after that, I believe. They are all very pretty and sexy, it really spread my vision.
In sum up, it is a really great winter vacation in my life, I hope I can go abroad other country next time.

Comparison about backpacking and tour travel
It is undoubted that everybody likes travel abroad, because it not only can let people feel relax but also learn other country's culture. As everyone knows that travel can be separated in two ways, first is tour travel and second is backpack travel. This two ways have several similarities but a great of differences.
The similarities are that both of them can let people feel relax and realize other country's culture. No matter which way you choose, you need to pay lot of money on it.
Despite these similarities, they are still have great differences in many aspects. First, backpacking need to realize lots of information about the place which they want to go, because you need to know which hotel you will live in and which traffic tools you will need. But tour traveler don't, they just need to follow the tourist guide's direction only. Second, backpacking are not limited by time and place, they can go anywhere in anytime if they want. But tour traveler can't, they need to follow the schedule, generally, their time is very tight. Third, backpacking need to well realize the country's language which they want to go, otherwise, they will encounter many problems. But tour traveler don't have this problem, because their tourist guide will handle everything for them.
To sum up, both of them have advantage and disadvantage. Choosing a way you prefer is the most important thing to us.

Mid-term exam
In recent years, people have more and more ways on buying books, such as book store, internet book store, book fair…Why book fair is so popular, in my view there are some reasons.
Firstly, book fair will display a lot of book, you can find every kind of books in there, and you can also buy them with low price. Secondly, you may see many authors in person! Well, I think that is why people like to go to book fairs.
I like reading all kind of books, but I like travel books most because it can let me know others country’s traditions and landscapes without going to there. When I read travel books, I can almost imagine the beautiful mountains and river around me, and many landscapes which I have ever seen. It is just like I am really there. I think that is why I like reading travel books.

new life
University is very diffrent from High school. For example: we can choose courses by ourselves and have more free time to use, but it's mean that we are not child anymore, we should responsible for anything we do. Enter Chou Yan university is a new life to me, new friends, new goal, new challenge.... I will study as possible as I can in university, because it is the most important process in our life. After graduate from university, it will be very difficult to study again. I don't want to regret when I become old. Wish I will fulfill my goal.
